Happy Sunday! I hope the weekend has been enjoyable thus far. Have any of you moved recently? If so, you know the time it takes to get unpacked, acclimated to a new space and to make your peace with having left the old place behind. One part of my recent move has thrown me off more than any other … get this:

There’s no bathtub! *sad face*

As baths are a ritual part of my relaxation regimen, I have been trying to find ways to incorporate some bath-like elements into my new environment. When shopping for the new place, I was moved to buy myself a dish tub and wasn’t entirely sure what I’d do with it. A few days ago it hit me: foot baths!

If any parts of our bodies need their own little bubble baths, it’s our feet. We stand, walk, jump and play on them and many of us rarely give them a second thought.  Show the feet some love! Get yourself a little dish tub, fill it halfway with comfortably hot water, half a capful of your favorite bubble bath, peppermint soap or 2 tablespoons of Epsom salt and soak away for about 15-20 minutes. If you’re feeling like showing yourself some extra foot love, follow up the soak with a little scrub treatment like this new one from LUSH.
