I pray that 2010 has gotten off to a wonderful start for all of you. For the first time in my life, I spent New Year’s Eve alone at home and it was a wonderful, wonderful thing! I partook in a delicious candlelight dinner, a cleansing white bath and a whole lot of prayer and reflection. 2009 was a year of a lot of accomplishments for me – including launching Ase Ire! – and I look forward to more great things in this new decade.

I found a little poem by Edgar Guest that captures my feelings and wishes for this New Year:

A happy New Year! Grant that I
May bring no tear to any eye
When this New Year in time shall end
Let it be said I've played the friend,
Have lived and loved and labored here,
And made of it a happy year.

This year, and every year, I venture to harm none, to be a good friend, to live, love, work and be happy! I pray all the same for each and every one of you.

With the entrance of the New Year comes the close of the Ase Ire winter giveaway. I had a third party select the winner and the winner is… Martinna Dougall of Washington, D.C. Congratulations Martinna!

Have a wonderful 2nd day of 2010 and a wonderful every day!
